About Muntej:
Muntej is an application owned and operated by Nawatej Commercial Establishment, which was founded and registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with its headquarters located in the city of Dammam under the Commercial Registration number 2050137437. Muntej App connects Chefs “Partners” and clients for reservation, fulfillment (via independent service providers), tracking and management of clients’ orders using Muntej App and website.
Mission:
Our mission at Muntej is to facilitate the ordering & discovering of Home Cooked Food for clients and, offer the easiest ways for getting your favorite meals, and deliver them with the best quality and speed possible.
Service Availability:
The exceptional services of Muntej and third-party service providers will be available throughout different areas of the kingdom according to our current coverage areas & during working hours that suits our special clients. We also promise to do our best to reach areas and neighborhoods not currently covered and add them as soon as possible. Our current coverage areas include the following cities: Dammam, Khobar, Riyadh and Jeddah.
Orders:
When you submit an order, you will receive a confirmation & thank you email, or SMS, or App notification from Muntej app once the Chef accepts your order. Your order will not be considered confirmed until you receive that message. Please be informed that all orders are agreed upon between clients and Chefs and third parties, where Muntej app functions as a liaison between these parties. Muntej app also acts on behalf of Chefs and third parties in concluding agreements with you, so please make sure that you entered correct information upon registration and order submission, as this information will be relied on by our delivery agents to deliver your order. Also, kindly make sure that your phone is close to you when your order is out for delivery, if our agents’ attempts to reach you out failed, they will leave your registered location after 5 minutes and the order will be considered as delivered in the app, with charging you the total order and delivery fees.
We always strive to offer the best services for our special clients, we also ask that in case you ever face any issues upon ordering, please inform us and we will contact you as soon as possible to fix it, we are also working with our partners to offer and follow the highest level of quality of service possible. Availability and Delivery:
Our mission at Muntej is providing the best possible service, we also strive to overcome any hurdles that may affect delivery quality, but we cannot control everything as some circumstances could prevent the delivery of our exceptional services to clients, such as but not limited to: our inability to control the traffic situation, weather, and other factors. Kindly note that we will do our best to ensure that the delivery of your orders will be on the prespecified time you received by email or app. Also, be notified that delivery times will be scheduled based on the number of orders and client counts that are being served by the third-party at the time of order. To clarify, the delivery time shown on App is the average time not the actual time. As actual times may vary to be longer or shorter as per the circumstances surrounding the order at that time. Thus, kindly be informed that a 45-minute delivery time in Muntej is merely an estimated time.

Allowed Cancellation Duration: the time during which you may cancel an order which is set by the Chef and aligned with Muntej policy so it cannot exceed (24-48) hours prior to the agreed upon delivery time specified in the order. The time specified by you will be used as a reference for calculating the allowed duration. In case of cancellation of any order that has entered into “under preparation” stage by you, it will be classified as a “failed order” and will be fully charged on you including delivery fees.
Muntej reserves the right to specify whether an order has entered into “under preparation” stage or not, also Muntej or a Chef could cancel any order and you will be notified of the cancellation and its reasons, and you will not be charged for the order. in case you have paid a down-payment followed by a cancellation by Muntej or Chef, the down-payment will be refunded using the same payment method used in the order. Compensation to client will be on case-by-case basis. please bear in mind that your refund could take up to 14 business days. If you choose payment on delivery option your order will be billed, please make sure to pay any dues to avoid banning your account. Third-party terms of service will be applied in matters related to delivery charges upon cancellation on all parties, if the client cancels an order after driver assignment and more specifically after the third party’s allowed free cancelation duration, he/she will be charged for these fees.
Price and payment:
You may browse products and view the prices before ordering. Products’ prices are subject to change at any time prior to order confirmation via email or SMS. If we notice any apparent pricing errors, we will contact you so that you may cancel the order in case you do not wish to proceed, please be assured that we are working hard to avoid any such mistakes and we kindly request that you inform us if you notice any.
After order confirmation, you may pay upon delivery, with your MADA or credit card or using Muntej Wallet balance deduction. Payments will be made directly to Muntej Company which will in turn transfer the Chefs’ dues or bill them for settlement at a previously agreed-upon date if the payment is made via cash on delivery, as Muntej App is authorized by Chefs to accept payments and receive cash on their behalf. Therefore, paying your dues to Muntej leads to your fulfillment of your financial obligations to Chefs.
Service Charges:
Muntej app is considered a liaison between yourself, Chefs, and third parties and is not a restaurant that is subject to regulations of the Ministry of Commerce, as we actually charge you for services provided and whatever government ensued charges that may apply. Any other amounts are owed to the Chefs themselves and third parties, where Muntej only collects it on their behalf. so please be informed that all charges placed by Muntej are subject to increment or decrease at any point in time as Muntej management may see fits.
Refund:
We at Muntej App care about our clients’ satisfaction with our services. Some issues might happen with orders, so if you face any issues please contact us and our customer care at Muntej app will work on resolving any issues. Muntej may decide to give full or partial refund of the amount according to what Muntej app may see fits and as per their solitary decision, and that would be in case the amount is already paid to Muntej. In case Muntej decides to give full or partial refund, the amount will be returned via the same payment method used in the original payment or by offering Muntej App Wallet Balance. Please be informed that any refunded wallet credit by Muntej expires after 14 days.
In case of cancellation happened by a client after the order has entered into “under-preparation” stage no amounts will be refunded, and if the selected payment method was cash on delivery and the client cancels the order, they must still pay all incurred costs that are owed to all parties who have worked on the order. Whereas if the cancellation comes from Muntej or the Chef, all amounts and down-payments will be refunded to the client. To avoid any doubts, please read the cancellation policy as the refund policy is an extension of the cancellation policy.
Payment Data policy:
Muntej app provides the option of saving and updating your payment information or opting-out. When you choose to save your information, it will be under your own responsibility and thus you will be completely and irreversibly forfeiting your rights under any current or future laws or guidelines that entitle you to any claims, such as claims related to information security, theft, editing, tampering or else, or taking any legal actions against Muntej app or any of its representatives, agents, sub-companies (If any) or contracted parties. You also agree not to cause any harm to Muntej App and to compensate a Muntej App and its employees, agents and subsidiaries, if any, and the companies contracting with the Muntej against any claims of any kind and how they arise, including the legal costs that may be brought against them now or in the future by you or by any other party with respect to any of the above-mentioned matters.
Our responsibility:
Muntej app and its management do not provide any guarantees or promises of any kind explicitly or implicitly regarding its content, the availability of its services, its being free of faults or fixing such faults if any. It also will not bear any responsibility for any direct or indirect losses or damages arising in the contract or due to your default, negligence and such, or your inability to use our application or services to the extent permitted by law. In the case of us being held liable for any reason, our liability will not extend any further than the cost of the product and that will only be after studying the case and confirming our liability for it. So, you must note that Muntej app is only a liaison between you, clients, and third-party service providers (some third-party service providers whom we have contracted with acts as a liaison between Chefs and clients for delivery of orders and receiving of payments without any liability on Muntej in regard to delivery). Muntej is not involved in the preparation of the dishes being sold. Thus, it will not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses or deaths that have occurred or may occur –may Allah forbid- from consumption of these dishes that have been listed on Muntej and that may occur due to incorrect information be it with or without the Chef’s knowledge, or even information that may have been edited or tampered related to the ingredients of the dishes or the dishes themselves or any information that may relate to dishes or orders which may cause harm to the client. In such cases, the Chef will be directly held liable if he/she enters incorrect or tampered information about the dishes and caused any harm or deaths may Allah forbid.
If the client attaches any comment regarding allergies to any specific foods or ingredients and the Chef ignores it, Muntej will not be held liable towards any harm that may occur due to that and the Chef will take full responsibility for this negligence. So, upon clients entering all of their comments in the comment box once placing an order, these comments must be taken into consideration when accepting or rejecting orders given the inputs provided by the client and your ability to provide the order as per the client’s request and comments to avoid any harm or liability.
Also, Muntej app will not be held liable for any mistakes or blunders related to content or any technical issues that you may face with our website or services. If we get notified to the presence of any problems or technical difficulties on our website or services, we will strive to fix and resolve them as soon as possible. we also refuse being held liable in any case (be it contractual or by negligence or any other) for any loss or harm that you or any third-party may face with regards to our website and services or any website linked to ours or any content posted on it to the extent allowed by law.
Governing law and legal jurisdiction:
If there are any conflicts or claims related to our services or app, then the sole legal jurisdiction will be that of the local courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and all of these claims or conflicts will be interpreted as per the local governing law effective at the time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Force Majeure:
We understand that circumstances can sometimes be out of one’s control, which may lead to them falling behind or failure to fulfill their obligations that are in this agreement, such as but not limited to: fateful events, business or governmental procedures, war, fire, flood, explosions, severe weather or civil riots. In such cases, no party will be held liable for any other party and this does not oppose with one party being liable for payment of dues owed to another party which was due prior to the oppressing circumstance.
The full Agreement:
The terms of this agreement, as well as all contracts struck with Chefs constitute the full agreement between parties, and it replaces all previous agreements, arrangements and verbal contracts between parties in relation to matters discussed within this agreement. Also please be informed that you must keep it and commit to all of its entailed clauses that are obligating to you.
Our right to change terms:
Muntej app is entitled to review, edit and change their terms and conditions partially or completely at any time by editing this web page. Thus, you must keep checking it from time to time to make sure you are up to date on any changes that may have been made as they are obligating to you. You must also check the terms and conditions of any service provided by any third-party that is contracted with Muntej to simplify your work and usage, because their terms are obligating to you as well once you have used their services through our app. (to check third-party service providers terms and conditions please click here)
Terms of use of Muntej’s website and apps:
Before you use the app or website or any of our services as a guest or registered user, you are kindly requested to read our Terms and Conditions carefully, because using these services signifies you agreed to these Terms and Conditions. In case you disagree with any of them you will not be able to enjoy our apps and services.
Terms of access to our service:
Access to our services and website is granted, but we retain the right to revoke or edit access without prior notice, and we will not be held liable if the services or website are not available at some point in time for any reason. We are also entitled to restrict access fully or partially for our registered users, and we are allowed to suspend or stop Muntej app until further notice with no liability on Muntej App. additionally, we are entitled to change content and all material on the website, and any of those might become obsolete and we are not mandated to update them.
Maintaining the privacy of your login information and all activities that happens on your account is your responsibility and yours alone, so if you have any concerns regarding your access information or doubts regarding its misuse you must change your password immediately and contact us on the email info@Muntejapp.com or through our customer care team as we can deactivate your account at any time.
Acceptable use:
It is not allowed to use our website or services in any illegal way, that may lead to a breach of current guidelines be them local, national or legal with the purpose of sending or receiving materials or knowingly accepting them or loading, downloading, using or reusing in a way that does not comply with the standards of the content guidelines mentioned in this policy. You are also not allowed access without a written formal permission to use any of our website, app, or other services used in our service provisioning, as well as destruction of material, or obstruction of our service or website.
Content Standards:
The standards that you must follow when publishing content or participating on the Muntej website and app are clarity and accuracy of all mentioned facts, and compliance with effective laws. So, you must comply to all standards that organize content and material that are on the website and app because they apply to each and all of what Muntej contains. Of these standards are the below:
  • Must not include any exposing, scandalous, explicit, hate speech of any person, or promote sexually explicit or implicit materials or violence, or promote discrimination against a religion, race, nationality, gender, age or disability.
  • Must not breach copyright or intellectual property right laws, data bases, and trademarks of any other entity.
  • Must not fraud or deceive or abuse any legal right of any third-party, such as a contractual obligation or non-disclosure agreement or promote any illegal activity.
  • Must not contain any threat or offence, or privacy breach or cause disruption or harassment or any unneeded worry or any probability of causing annoyance or embarrassment to any other party.
  • Must not promote any illegal act or assist in it such as infringement of intellectual property right and copyright or computer or website content misuse.
  • All products included must not include any false, fake, misleading, tampered, incomplete, or unclear information.
  • All dishes specifically and products generally must not contain any illegal or government prohibited materials or forbidden in Islam such as: liqueur, swine meats, drugs and drug-like substances.
  • All products and dishes must comply with all quality, safety, and health conditions enforced by governmental agencies including: CITC, SDFA, MCI, MOMRA.
  • Inclusion of all necessary and important comments that relate to your allergies to any specific ingredient or food in the comments box so that the Chef may accept or reject your order based on your inputs.
Thus, kindly be informed that we monitor our partners closely. Yet, if you notice any transgressions of any of these clauses kindly contact and notify us immediately, your cooperation with any transgressor may implicate you for aiding or abetting.
Suspension and Termination:
Failure to comply with the fair use and/or content standards clauses in the Terms and Conditions is considered a material breach of the terms of usage of this document and may lead to taking all or some of the below actions:
  • Warning.
  • Immediate temporary or permanent ban from using our services.
  • Taking legal actions against you that include paying all costs/fees (such as but not limited to: managerial costs and legal fees) that arise from your breach.
  • Disclosure of this information to the legal authorities and concerned bodies to take actions and apply penalties.
We may apply some other penalties that we consider fit and reasonable as well, since the actions we can take are not limited to the above.
Intellectual property rights:
All intellectual property rights and copyrights on our website and service, and contributions included on it (except your contributions) are owned by us and we are the only ones authorized to use them. Which means they are all protected by copyright and intellectual right laws and known agreements around the world. Thus, you are not entitled to use any content from our website in any way such as copying, publishing or re-publishing, re-editing or downloading, broadcasting, sending, or allowing public access in any way or such. This excludes your personal non-commercial use.
Loading and publishing material on our website and services:
All information and material published on our website or app which we collect is considered non-discrete and non-owned. Thus, you testify that we have the right to use it be it through copy, publishing, or disclosing to other third-party entities for any business-related purpose. And this also means that you completely authorize us completely and with no property rights to use, copy, edit, sell, distribute or disclose this information or materials to third-parties service providers even if they are protected with intellectual property rights or copyrights.

We are not liable for any links or URLs provided by any other entity that are published on our website or for any loss or harm that may have resulted or may result from using these links or URLs because these are only published for viewing and we have no control over their content.
Loss of an item from an order:
In case the client does not receive their ordered products completely or partially, they are entitled to claim a new product, or receive compensation for the value of missing products, or even a full refund. here is a detailed description of these cases and the rights and obligations of all parties:
  • A client is entitled to request a re-delivery of any and all missing products from the order, if they are available at the Chef side with the causing party being held liable and chargeable for any incurred additional cost or any cost charged to any other party.
  • If the client refuses to receive a complete order due to one or more element being missing, they are entitled to a full refund via the same payment method with which the original payment was made. Let it be known that the party held responsible for the missing elements will be held liable and chargeable for all other party compensations as well as any incurred fees and losses.
  • We can remove the product(s) from the bill total if it is not available at the Chef side after notifying the client and getting their approval for completing the order through customer care. If the customer has already paid, they will be refunded the difference in value via the same payment method used in the original payment.
